Detailed Personality:

Adalia was trained to be a traditional princess, following in her mother's footsteps and learning the ways to be proper and perfect for the day when she would be married to her own lord. Adalia knows her place in life and loves it! She does not want to be some unruly princess, dishonouring her family just for silly dreams of being what? Independant!? Why would you want to be independant when you can dependant on your lord and let him do the heavy lifting and live a cozy life beside the love of your life and have a family without worry of any danger. Adalia can only dream of the day when the king picks the lord that will wed her, he would be handsome and strong and love her wholeheartedly. 

On the other hand Adalia is not in anyway a mean royal, in fact she is as sweet as an apple. She always mean well, it's just that sometimes it comes out wrong but that is just due to her upbringing and oblivious nature. Adalia only knows the sheltered life she was given and knows no evil, she is far too trusting and has an annoying always positive outlook due to that. She only ever had to face small and pitiful problems such as why her hair is kinking in the wrong way and having to go through boring ediqette lessons. Some may think she is shallow but once you get to know her you realize she is actually a bubbly joyous lil girl, who is hard not to love. Even then Adalia has some fire in her, and can be an dramatic lil thing to get what she wants, pouting and teary eyes are not beneath her.  

History Summary:

Adalia was born to to a traditional couple, all joyous as once again another fawn was going to enter their family. The couple already had two older sons but this one was predicted to be a princess. Lord Dubhndair often recited that tale of the gods and how Óganach and Earran came first, only then to be followed by the lovely Áillte. He was certain this fawn was going to be his Áillte.. And he was right, except he died before he could see his little girl come into the world, her birth was one of joy and sadness for the family.

But living without a father hardly affected the unknowing bouncing and chubby fawn, for all she knew her eldest brother WAS her father and although she knows now that he is not, he will always be a father figure to her. Adalia lived a very sheltered and strict life since she was born, she was to be groomed to be a perfect princess by her mother, Anedele. The older princess took her only daughter under her care when before she passed her sons to nannies. Being the sole focus under her mothers teaching was strict and almost constant. But it was necessary, it made her learn to be proper, to not bring her family shame, and how to be a desired princess. Adalia struggled with her lessons, in fact she disliked them but she knew how important they are and tried her best to learn the graces needed for a princess. Overtime she became a natural, ready for the life beside a lord.

At the age of three, he magic blossomed within her, and with her joyous nature she proved to be quite adept in light magic. Lessons soon became a joy to attend when it was about magic and she learned fast, always practicing her light on her brothers when ever they got scratches from training. 

The time is now looming closer and lords had started showing interest in the elegant princess, she was young, beautiful, talented, and pure. A prize worth wanting. Her family was proud, and even she was excited, visioning her knightly stag being betrothed to her under the oak, he would be dark and honorable and treat her with love. She hoped King Drustan matched her right... But he didn't as she turned five, she was not wed. She had not flowered but it was normal for princesses to still be betrothed before they did. Nerves wracked her, was something wrong with her for the king to choose to wait another year? She was reasured though that it was normal for the king to wait another year for some. Reasured Adalia waited with anticipation for next years spring. 

At autumn approached, so did the tensity grow within in the herd. Adalia could feel the anger rise for the new king, she heard the rumors and lords whispered. And although she disliked the king, fear sprouted in her as well. If something were to happen to the King, chaos was sure to explode and worry for her dearest brother troubled her, she knew he would step forward for the crown. And in mid Autumn he finally had his chance. Adalia had desperately wanted to leave the family glade to socialize with other royal family's, convincing her brother was a slight struggle but with a practiced pouty face and sad eyes he gave in, and the family set out to graze. But they were in for a lot more, when King Drustan's odd offspring set it all into motion, the final breeze to break the branch. The herd roared for blood, including her brother, a side she never saw from Ciardar or from many of the lords there. which only added to the panic and fear that filled the princess, making her freeze as the a golem formed, attacking the nobles while the king ran with his family in to the woods. Shaken the herd turned to the only calm voice of reason and their despair turned to excitement for the King Tournament. Adalia still worried, her brother would risk much for the chance and a whole new king would be the one to choose her future with a lord of his choosing.

Year 763

As spring came about the new king was declared, striking fear into Adalia's heart. Her brother had lost the running and it was who Rafe took the title. Nervously she waited about who she will receive as her mate and wether she will be given to a lowly lord as reparation for her brother running against Rafe. But the king choice to make peace and so she and her family were surprised that when the messenger comes to their glade, he gave them the most unexpecting news; she is to be betrothed to the Crown Prince and that they are to be mated at the end of the season! Relief and joy fill her at not being being the tool to dishonour her family and she vows to do her best for the prince. Meeting Riddick she is over the moon at how handsome and kind he already seems to be and is looking forward to their union. As the season flies by, spring days filled with other betrothals, it was finally time for hers! It goes over beautifully and she thrilled to be starting a life with Riddick. Though homesickness starts settling in with the time away from her old home and family and in an attempt to get to know one another and feel more comfortably with each other, Riddick takes her for a honeymoon trip to Loch Kerr with only themselves and Riddick's guard. The vacation was a success and left them feeling close and relaxed, but as they come back expectations of the herd start bearing on them once more, the line of the king needed to succeed and that meant an heir to Riddick must be born. Adalia and Riddick decide to take the plunge to have a fawn together! Though are surprised when he gods gift them with twin colts! The couple are thrilled but it then begs the question on which colt will be the heir.

Quirks/ Trivia:

~ Adalia constantly checks over her coat as a nervous tick since it was pushed on her by her mother to always be perfect. Seen when going into a stressful situations like meeting important royals and especially when meeting her mother.

~ She has a extreme love for clovers and sweet fruits. 8D 

~ She secretly loves trinkets and decorations, but was never allowed to wear such items.

Appearance:

Adalia was a bit chubby as a young fawn but as she is starting to hit maturity and with a stricter diet, her baby fat has grown into a lean frame fit for a princess. Her pelt is desired creamy coat with lovely spots adorning her across her coat, it is kept clean and soft by being groomed daily by her hoofmaidens. Her hair is silky and striaght like her mother's and brother's which she often weaves in drapes to replace her desired decorations. She wears no trinkets, since her mother finds them to be frivoulous items for a princess to wear and only acceptable if ordered to by a lord. If Adalia was allowed she would love to wear flowers galore and often gets her brother to make her flower crowns to wear in private.
